Dialup Access Using Windows 2000
  • Go to Start, Settings, and choose Control Panel.
  • Double-click the Network and Dial-up Connections icon.


    • Double click on make new connection.

    Choose dialup to internet and Click Next

    Select the third botton and hit next.

    Choose the modem option and hit next.

    Enter the access number and hit next

    Enter loginname - remeber the capital P before nodename.

    Name this connection anything you want.

    Choose email setup if you wish. If not select "no" and the setup will be complete.

    Enter any name you wish added to your outgoing emails.

    Enter your email address.

    Enter the mail servers.
  • Incoming: pop.mv.net
  • Outgoing: mail.mv.net

    Enter your email login.

    Complete!
