The Internet Connection Wizard will walk you through the setup. You will be asked to enter the name you are known by. This name will appear along with your email address in messages that you send.

Next you will be asked for your email address, enter the full address such as pete@mycomputer.mv.com

The next question asks for the Email Server Names. You will need to tell Outlook Express that this is an IMAP server instead of a POP3 server. mail.mv.net is known as the mailbox server, it handles various aspects of the email process. It is used by customers to both send and receive email as well as to store email and allow users to retrieve it through either the POP3 or IMAP protocols. Additionally it serves as a gateway to your personal webspace to allow you to store the pages you wish to display on the World Wide Web.

Where you are asked for the server type (My incoming mail server is a ...) pull down on the selection box and select IMAP.

Enter the name of the server (mail.mv.net) in both the incoming and outgoing server name boxes.
